What are the five narrative theories? 

• Claude-Levi Strauss - Binary Opposition (1958)

• Tzentan Todorov - Conevntional structure (1977)
• Roland Barthes - Narrative Codes (1977)
• Valdaimir Propp - Character roles (1928)

Narrative is understood through two opposites.

Narratives have different character roles that is key to the narrative.
